Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Agricultural Liaison Officer to join our Infrastructure team covering the Northeast. This role would suit someone who is based in County Durham and Leeds and will be the first point of contact between our clients, landowners, contractors and agents.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with landowners to secure necessary land access.
  • Keep the client informed and advise on practical matters impacting land.
  • Ensure that contractors on site adhere to commitments made to landowners.
  • Manage and resolve landowner complaints related to project activities.
  • Coordinate site visits for records of condition and meetings.
  • Assist the team in settling compensation claims.
  • Maintain accurate stakeholder records.
  • Work within client-defined timeframes to deliver programmes on schedule.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs.
  • Understanding of infrastructure schemes and their impact on agricultural land.
  • Working knowledge of soil management and drainage plans with landowners.
  • Experience with records of condition.
  • Ambitious, driven to drive business initiatives forward.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
