Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive or a candidate ready for their next career step. The position is primarily based in Carlisle but may involve travel throughout Cumbria, the South of Scotland and the North‑East.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain your book of clients.


• Use your relationship‑building skills to develop existing client relationships and meet client objectives.


• Work closely with the Account Handling team to support your daily functions.


• Understand clients’ insurance needs.


• Identify the correct insurer market and present commercial risks to the relevant insurers to enable a quotation to be provided.


• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and establish effective ongoing relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience of working in commercial and agricultural insurance.


• Strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry network.


• Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to manage a broad portfolio of work.


• Strong relationship‑building abilities.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Insurance industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential, as support will be provided towards achievement.
