Agricultural Machinery Sales Representative

Location: Colchester, Essex

Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000+ company vehicle

About the Role

I am looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Agricultural Machinery Sales Representative to join my clients team in Colchester. Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling new and used agricultural machinery and related equipment within a designated area.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you'll visit customers, build long‑term relationships, and maximise sales opportunities while representing our portfolio of trusted agricultural brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell new and used agricultural machinery and associated equipment
  • Achieve sales performance targets as set by your line manager
  • Represent the dealership and its brands professionally within your designated area
  • Maintain up-to-date product and market knowledge
  • Attend customer‑focused events and exhibitions
  • Ensure products are delivered in line with company and brand standards
  • Provide excellent customer service both face‑to‑face and over the phone
  • Demonstrate machinery when required
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and its machinery
  • Proven experience in sales, service, or parts within the agricultural sector
  • Target‑driven, with the ability to up‑sell and close deals effectively
  • Full UK driving licence required

Additional Information

Additional Hours: May be required during peak seasons (e.g., harvest) and weekend rota cover
