A respected agricultural business in Longtown is seeking an Agricultural Administrator to provide crucial support in operations and client services.   • Support back-office operations to ensure production targets are met.
  • Maintain UFAS, site compliance and Health & Safety standards.
  • Operate weighbridge systems and complete accurate paperwork.
  • Route and coordinate the wagon fleet for efficient logistics.
  • Communicate with drivers, transport teams and customers regarding dispatches.
  • Assist with loading/unloading coordination and stock availability.
  • Provide general admin duties including data entry and documentation.

Agricultural Administrator - Longtown

We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Agricultural Administrator to join our established team based in Longtown. This role plays an important part in supporting agricultural operations, client services and internal business processes.

Due to the specialist nature of the company and the role, previous experience within an agricultural environment (farm, livestock, agribusiness, feed, dairy, grain, machinery or similar) is essential.

Working Pattern

Monday - Friday

  • Saturday's on a rota basis - paid at overtime
Salary

£28,000 starting

  • Additional monies paid when Saturday shifts are completed
Key Responsibilities

Support back-office operations to ensure production targets are met

Maintain UFAS, site compliance and Health & Safety standards

Operate weighbridge systems and complete accurate paperwork

Route and coordinate the wagon fleet, ensuring efficient logistics

Communicate with drivers, transport teams and customers regarding dispatches

Assist with loading / unloading coordination and stock availability

Promote near-miss reporting, maintain site cleanliness and support operational improvements

Provide general admin duties including data entry, documentation and customer communication

Requirements

Previous experience in an agricultural role or environment (essential)

Strong administrative organisational skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High attention to detail and confidentiality

We require all candidates to have their own transport due to the location of the office.
