A leading healthcare provider in Leeds is seeking an experienced Nurse/MAHP to lead the Agile Research Delivery Team. The role involves operational management and delivering clinical research across various settings. Candidates should possess leadership skills, knowledge of clinical trials, and hold relevant qualifications. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710.
Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you want to work in a variety of settings across different organisations? Are you looking to lead a diverse team across West Yorkshire? The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is looking for an experienced Nurse/MAHP to join a dynamic mobile team.
The ARDT works across Secondary Care, Primary Care and Wider Care settings, delivering a variety of Commercial and Non-Commercial research studies and trials. The Clinical Manager post would ideally suit someone who has experience of leading a team in a dynamic environment and/or experience of delivering clinical research at a senior level.
This post is employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals but covers the West Yorkshire region, which is one of three sub-regions within the Yorkshire and Humber RRDN region. The operational base will be Leeds City Centre.
The following areas of expertise are advantageous however not essential: Commercial Research Delivery with IMP administration, Mental Health, Community or District Nursing, Supporting those living with Dementia and Prisons.

From October 2024, the NIHR Clinical Research Network became the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). The RDN continues to support the effective and efficient initiation and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England for the benefit of patients, the health and care system and the economy.
Clinical trials and other well‑designed health and social care research studies (including studies that are delivered outside of an NHS setting);
Public health studies that require the recruitment of individuals within an NHS setting (that is, acute, ambulance, mental health, community or primary care) or an episode of care which involves contact with the NHS.

The role involves leading a team of multi professionals to deliver National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network (RDN) Portfolio studies across varied health and care settings. As team manager you will be responsible for a regionally based, flexible, multi‑disciplinary staff who are deployed to support the delivery of NIHR RDN portfolio studies across a range of health and care specialties and settings. This post has a dual function and the post holder will either manage and lead research delivery and/or research support for wider care settings dependent upon regional need. This will include delegation, supervision, provision of education and support, appraisals.
The role will work alongside different professions from multiple organisations involved in health and care research and will be an integral part of the Agile Research Delivery Team. The Team Manager will be responsible for delivering the NIHR ENRICH Network and providing an enhanced study support offering for social and wider care settings. The post holder will work closely with the Agile Research Delivery Team Manager(s) and be accountable to the Agile Research Delivery Team Senior (Clinical) Manager.
