The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is looking fora enthusiastic and motivated individual who can provide general administrativesupport to join a dynamic, mobile team working throughout the Yorkshire andHumber region.

Thepost holder will be expected to support team members with administrative tasksrelating to research study delivery and data management

These posts will be employed through Leeds TeachingHospitals with the operational base being Wizu Office, 55 St Pauls St, Leeds,LS1 2TE

Main duties of the job

Thepost will mainly be responsible for such tasks ascreatingdocumentation, spreadsheets and presentations, providediary oversight for Agile Research Delivery Team Clinical and Senior ClinicalManagers and the Head of Research Delivery and Support for Wider CareSettings as required, organisingmeetings and events relevant to the Agile Research Delivery Team, Supportdata entry, Provideadministrative oversight of the regional Local Portfolio Management System(LMPS). Supportwith staff recruitment via NHS jobs, Arrangingmeetings, including sourcing venues, preparing relevant paperwork includingagendas and directions. Provideadministrative support to other RRDN services and functions as required.

First, to provide support to research sites to enable the effective andefficient initiation

anddelivery of funded research across the health and care system in England.

Second, to enable the strategic development of new and more effectiveresearch

deliverycapability and capacity. This includes bringing research to under-servedregions

MAINDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

INFORMATION& ADMINISTRATION

Supporting Agile Research DeliveryTeam roles with general administration related to study delivery tasks, datamanagement and staff recruitment/development processes.

Utilise the National Institute forHealth and Care Research (NIHR) Hub (including Gmail and Google Drive) andother information systems (e.g. spreadsheets) as required.

Provide administrative oversight ofthe regional Local Portfolio Management System (LMPS).

Arranging meetings, includingsourcing venues, preparing relevant paperwork including agendas anddirections.

Provide administrative support toother RRDN services and functions as required.

COMMUNICATION& STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT (NHS AND NON-NHS)

Liaise effectively and courteouslywith colleagues.

Maintain strong and effectiveworking relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners.

Act as the main point of contactwhere agreed for all administrative queries.

Attend regular team meetings andcontribute as appropriate.

Experience
  • Experience of working in an administrative/data management position in a health care setting
  • Knowledge and awareness of the importance of data confidentiality and Information Governance
  • Awareness of research in health and care settings
