Job summary

Eden Smith Group is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer/Developer (Python) for a 6-month contract (Inside IR35) with hybrid London work. The role emphasizes building AI products and scalable systems, delivering production-ready Python code, and delivering GenAI and agentic capabilities.

You will work with an engineering consultancy in London, contributing to AI and data solutions for household-name clients, with a roadmap to scale and extend engagements.

Qualifications

• Be operating as an AI Engineer/Python Developer, building AI Products/Systems.
• Be confident in Python - writing testable production-ready code.
• Have demonstrable experience in designing & building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Have hands-on experience in GenAI and Agentic Systems - including delivery experience.
• Be comfortable working with LLMs, Agentic Frameworks and Prompt Engineering.

Contract Agentic AI Engineer/Developer - Python

6 Month Contract (Inside IR35)

£600-650/Day - Hybrid - 3 Days on Site in London

If you recently pivotted from Software Engineering/Development into productionising AI Systems and Platforms, this could be the high-impact opportunity for you.

We are searching for an Agentic AI Engineer who is passionate about building the products/systems others are only talking about! You will operate as an AI Enablement Lead and supporting a private investment corporation in adopting gen AI, including Claude tools.

We are working with an Engineering Consultancy in London who are working with household name companies to deliver high-impact AI and Data solutions. They have scaled to 200 staff and 5 global offices in just a few years, with a strong pipeline of client projects around turning ideas into action.

The successful candidate will:

• Be operating as an AI Engineer/Python Developer, building AI Products/Systems.
• Be confident in Python - writing testable production-ready code
• Have demonstrable experience in designing & building microservices and RESTful APIs.

Rate: £600 - £650/Day
