Tendercare Staffing in Birkenhead is seeking compassionate Support Workers to cover diverse care settings, including residential care, supported living and homecare. You will support individuals with personal care, meals and activities, while promoting independence and dignity on every shift.

Applicants should have genuine care passion, good communication skills, and flexibility to work short notice. DBS and references are required; driving and travel to multiple sites may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Support Worker / Care Assistant (preferred, but some roles may accept new carers with the right attitude)
• Genuine passion for caring for vulnerable people
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Reliable, flexible and able to work at short notice
• Able to travel to different services as required
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional references
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete before starting shifts)

Aufgaben

• Provide person-centred care and emotional support
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility where required
• Support with meals, hydration and nutrition
• Encourage participation in activities and community access
• Prompt or support with medication in line with training and policies
• Monitor and report any changes in health, mood or behaviour
• Maintain confidentiality, safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Work in a variety of care settings depending on bookings (residential care, supported living, homecare, day services etc.)
• Record accurate notes and handovers in line with service policies
• Represent Tendercare Staffing professionally on every shift
