Job summary

Ailsa Response is seeking an Agency Care Assistant to provide person-centred care to adults in the Glasgow community. You will support clients with daily living tasks, including meal prep, medication prompts and personal care, while maintaining accurate visit records.

We offer structured shift patterns, flexible bookings, and weekly pay with holiday pay. Competitive hourly rates apply, with opportunities for permanent agency positions and career progression.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of paid care experience in the UK including personal care.
• Ability to travel to the first client in Glasgow by 8am.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to adults in the community in Glasgow.
• Assist with meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support.
• Assist with personal care.
• Support clients to participate in their care planning and provision.
• Record and report daily visit information accurately.

About the Role

As an Agency Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to adults in the community in Glasgow.

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately

What We Are Looking For

• Travel Requirements:You must be able to get to your first client in Glasgow for 8am.
• Right to Work:You must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship currently.
• Ability to work 2-3 shifts per week, including some Saturdays and Sundays.
• At least 6 months of paid care experience in the UK is required. This must be a job role that includes personal care.
