Job summary

Ailsa Response in Glasgow is seeking an Agency Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care in community settings across Glasgow. You will support adults with daily tasks, personal care, and care planning while following structured shift patterns.

The role offers flexible booking, consistent shifts starting around early morning, and opportunities for progression within a trusted care team. A reliable candidate with 6+ months UK care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of paid care experience in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily life activities (meal prep, medication prompts, domestic support).
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Support clients to take an active role in planning and providing care.
• Record and report daily visit information accurately.

About the Role

As an Agency Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to adults in the community in Glasgow.

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support


• Assisting clients with personal care


• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care


• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately

What We Are Looking For

• Travel Requirements:You must be able to get to your first client in Glasgow for 8am.


• Right to Work:You must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship currently.


• Ability to work 2-3 shifts per week, including some Saturdays and Sundays.


• At least 6 months of paid care experience in the UK is required. This must be a job role that includes personal care.
