Job summary

Wallscourt Farm Academy in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic Afterschool Playworker to support children with play, learning and enrichment activities at the end of the school day. This fixed-term role is 13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:00pm–5:45pm, until October 2027.

You should have a First Aid qualification or be willing to undertake training and be able to communicate effectively with children and parents.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children in a school or after-school setting.
  • Ability to plan engaging activities promoting development.
  • Willingness to undertake First Aid training if not already qualified.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.
