Overview

Perfect opportunities for Support Workers looking for additional hours whilst still being able to choose when they work.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to work with the existing care team, ensuring each resident is receiving the appropriate care whilst encouraging independence. You will be supporting residents suffering with dementia and Alzheimer’s. In this role, the residents’ wellbeing is the top priority, and as you get to know them, you will be able to effectively aid them in mobility and nutrition, to name a few. No two days as a Healthcare Assistant are the same, and additional responsibilities could include carrying out domestic tasks, reporting condition updates and following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Checkable work history
  • Up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
  • In date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.

Benefits

This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours will be Saturday to Sunday starting at 16:00 and finishing at 22:00. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
