Job summary

Vertas is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Priestsic Primary. The role involves maintaining cleanliness to a high standard across classrooms and communal areas, with shifts 15:30–17:45, Monday to Friday, 11.25 hours per week, year-round.

You will work independently and with the team, ensuring hygiene and safety while providing friendly service to staff and visitors. Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but training will be provided, and a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Wipe tables and surfaces.
• Hoover and mop floors across classrooms and communal areas.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
