Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Basingstoke invites applications for a Parcel Delivery Driver. You will join a team delivering parcels across the week from a local delivery office, with shift hours in the afternoon and early evenings and a weekend rota as required.

You will prep your van, follow route-planning tools and ensure items reach the right destination on time, while delivering excellent customer service and representing Royal Mail positively.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently.
• Organised, punctual with great initiative.
• Committed to the delivery of great customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and drive as part of a multi-drop route.
• Prep van and workload for the day and use route-planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.
• Deliver more than parcels by providing good customer service and acting as an ambassador for Royal Mail.
