Overview

This lovely family based in Brent, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties. Responsibilities involve collecting the child from school, bringing her home, engaging her in enjoyable and stimulating activities, and preparing and serving her dinner, with light meal preparation required. The ideal candidate will be a female nanny with previous childcare experience, preferably someone who already has other work and is comfortable with part-time hours. Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks will also be part of the role. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday from 3:20 pm to 6:20 pm

Responsibilities

• Picking the child up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Actively supervising homework and providing academic support
• Ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Assisting with the bedtime routine and putting the child to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books together
• Supporting the child’s educational growth through homework assistance and learning activities
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving healthy and nutritious meals and snacks

Qualifications

Female nanny with previous childcare experience, preferably part-time hours, and a valid first-aid qualification.
