Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Preston (PR2). This role involves afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis with typical 12-hour days and opportunities for weekend work.

Rates include holiday pay: Mon-Fri £20.34/hr; Sat £23.52/hr; Sun £26.25/hr; overtime after 8 hours £25.25/hr. Main duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots/hubs, and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• HOLD a valid, in-date Tachograph & CPC.
• Good customer service skills are required.
• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
