Job summary

Foundry Operatives - Core Maker is required for the afternoon shift in Lye. The role involves operating a core machine to produce sand cores, cleaning the mixer, and inspecting finished cores for defects. Previous experience with Laempe machines or similar core making equipment is preferred.

The position is temporary-to-permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate. Hours: 13:00–21:00, Monday to Thursday. Pay is £14.75 per hour inclusive of shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Background in machine operating and assembly work.
• Experience operating Laempe machines or similar core making equipment.
• Afternoon shift availability (13:00–21:00, Mon-Thu).

Responsibilities

• Operate the Core Machine to produce high quality sand cores.
• Clean mixer.
• Inspect cores for defects.
