Job summary

West Riding Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Warehouse Picker with an FLT Counterbalance licence for an afternoon shift in Wakefield (WF3). The role blends picking with forklift driving to keep stock moving and orders fulfilled.

You will spend about 80% of your time picking from sheets and 20% operating a counterbalance FLT, loading/unloading, and keeping the area safe and tidy. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
• Experience in warehouse environment
• Experience of picking from pick sheets
• Reliable and hardworking
• Ability to work safely in a busy warehouse

Responsibilities

• Picking products accurately from pick sheets
• Operating Counterbalance FLT to move stock around the warehouse and yard
• Loading and unloading HGV vehicles
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly and efficiently
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, safe and tidy
• Working as part of a fast-paced team to keep everything moving
