Job summary

Brook Street in Inverness is seeking a reliable Factory Cleaner for afternoon shifts (Mon-Fri 1:00–5:00 pm) to maintain high hygiene standards in a busy production environment. This temporary role with immediate start could lead to permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

You will clean production areas, machinery and surfaces to food safety standards, sweep and mop floors, and dispose of waste while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning in a factory environment is preferred.
• Ability to work on own initiative once trained is required.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• There is some physical aspects to the role.

Responsibilities

FACTORY CLEANER - AFTERNOONS - Monday to Friday

We are seeing a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain high hygiene standards in a busy production environment. This is initially a temporary position, with an immediate start, but the role could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

• Hours are Mon to Friday 1 - 5.00 pm
• Rate of pay is £13.45/hr
• Location - Inverness (on a regular bus route)

Key responsibilities:

• Cleaning production areas, machinery and surfaces to food safety standards.
• Sweeping, mopping and sanitising floors and work spaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Following health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Utilising cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Requirements:
