Aftercare Operative / Multi-Trader

£34,500 + van, fuel card & overtime available.

39 hours per week.

Covering the Suffolk area.

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected building contractor. They are looking for a reliable and versatile Aftercare Operative / Multi-Trader to join their team, and help deliver excellent post-build service and maintenance work across their clients portfolio.

Role Overview

As an Aftercare Operative / Multi-Trader, you will be responsible for post-completion maintenance of housing association properties, ensuring clients' homes and properties function properly and that any defects or snagging issues are addressed efficiently.

You will work across and need to be experienced in multiple trades - such as carpentry, plastering repairs, painting, tiling and masticing, to deliver general repairs. Ensuring high standards of finish and a great level of customer service.

Person Specification / What You'll Bring

Essential:

• Proven experience as a multi-trader within a maintenance or new-build aftercare role.
• Skilled in carpentry, plastering repairs, painting, tiling and masticing.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in completing high-quality finishes.
• Excellent communication skills—able to liaise with clients, site teams and colleagues.
• Reliable, well‑organised, able to travel to multiple sites and manage own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Background within a new-build aftercare team.
