Job description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate leader to join our enthusiastic team

Here is a unique opportunity to join our “joyful” school (Ofsted 2024), where our vision for the whole school community is to “learn to live.” We have an exciting opportunity for an After School Club Manager, to lead and develop our extended school provision which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3pm and 6pm across both our sites.

Responsibilities include liaising with parents/carers; logging attendance; supervising the team and preparing a healthy tea. Working hours are flexible, but ideally you will be on-site for core hours from 11.30am - 6pm. You will report to the School Business Manager/Headteacher.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has previously worked in school. You would be able to plan interesting activities including outdoor play, as well as opportunities for the children to relax or do homework. It is also vital that you are organised, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children. It would be useful if you had your own car, as you may need to drive between the two sites (2 minute journey).

Salary & Working Hours

Actual salary: £17,577 - £19,243 depending on experience, for 24 hours per week (term time only).

Start date: Monday 5th January 2026 (or sooner if possible).
