Job summary

ThePlaceToBe is a digital agency specialising in E-commerce and Retail, driven by Affiliate Marketing, Paid Media, SEO and Content Marketing. As an Affiliate Marketing Account Manager, you will join the Paid Media team to activate and plan campaigns for key clients.

You will work with senior management to expand affiliate partnerships, deliver clear performance updates, and drive strategic growth across networks. Liverpool-based with on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Affiliate Marketing role.
• Strong understanding of affiliate networks including Awin, Rakuten and CJ Affiliate.
• Strong reporting skills with data.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident speaking to clients and leading meetings.
• Agency or network experience desirable.
• Must be able to commute to Liverpool, 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimise client affiliate marketing campaigns for success.
• Help build profitable affiliate strategies for clients.
• Identify opportunities beyond traditional affiliate partnerships (brand-to-brand, influencer, tech).
• Contribute to team meetings with innovative ideas to improve operations.
• Participate in client meetings and calls, clearly explaining account performance.
• Perform regular compliance checks and implement POA for issues.
• Report to Head of Affiliates and support other duties as needed.

About the role...

As an Affiliate Marketing Account Manager, you’ll join a growing Paid Media department and assist with the activation and strategic planning of Affiliate Marketing campaigns for a selection of the agency’s key clients

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Ensure that client affiliate marketing campaigns are set up for success
• Assist in building a profitable affiliate marketing strategy for clients
• Work with Senior Management to identify opportunities for your clients further than traditional affiliate partnerships, eg brand-to-brand, influencer and tech.
• Actively contributing to team meetings, bringing forth innovative ideas to enhance agency operations
• Effectively contributing to client meetings and calls, with a primary focus on clearly explaining account performance.
• Completing regular compliance checks for your accounts and implement POA to combat when issues arise.
• Report into Head of Affiliates and assist with any other duties

What we're looking for...

• Previous experience within a Affiliate Marketing role
• Showcase strong understanding of the affiliate landscape and knowledge of affiliate networks including Awin, Rakuten and CJ Affiliate
• Strong reporting skills and experience working with data.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Be confident enough to speak to clients regularly and take lead upon meetings
• Agency or Network experience is desirable
• You must be able to commute to Liverpool, 3 days a week
