A leading aerospace company is seeking an Aerothermal Engineer in Derby or Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering and strong technical knowledge in Aerothermal methodologies. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aerothermal Engineer to join the ‘Fluid Mechanics - Aerothermal, Combustion, Thermofluids and Performance’ function, at Rolls-Royce based in Derby or Bristol.

As an Aerothermal Engineer , you will be responsible for and have knowledge in problem resolution, defining requirements, analysing test data, aerothermal and thermodynamic modelling of components and systems to facilitate component and engine design. In addition, responsibilities include methods development, rig test support, verifying products, and supporting physical & functional systems and components throughout the product lifecycle.

*To work for Rolls-Royce you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality.*
