Job summary

SII UK is seeking a highly motivated Systems Test Engineer to contribute to aerospace integration and validation programmes. You will work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment supporting ground and flight-based verification across aircraft systems.

You will execute system-level validation, generate detailed test documentation, analyse large data sets, and collaborate with design, operations and validation specialists to ensure rigorous testing under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace system verification and validation.
• Ability to analyze engineering data and report findings.
• Strong data handling and analysis using Excel.
• Programming capability (Python or similar) for automation.
• Clear, structured technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level validation across mechanical and fluid-based aircraft subsystems.
• Support end-to-end airborne test campaigns including preparation and verification.
• Generate comprehensive, well-structured test documentation and observations.
• Analyse large datasets using statistical techniques and engineering judgement.
• Investigate anomalies and contribute to root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with design, operations and validation specialists to communicate findings.
