Job summary

Verify Europe in Milton Keynes is seeking a Source Inspector to ensure suppliers consistently meet aerospace quality requirements. You will conduct supplier audits, perform source inspections, and verify FAIRs in accordance with AS9102, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to guarantee flawless first articles.

The role involves raising and managing SCARs through to closure, leading root cause investigations, and implementing corrective and preventative actions with Quality,

Qualifications

• Experience in a Supplier Quality or Source Inspection role.
• Experience conduct­ing supplier audits and managing supplier quality issues.
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102 aerospace quality requirements.
• Experience with SCARs and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with aerospace quality requirements.
• Perform source inspections and verify FAIRs per AS9102.
• Raise and manage SCARs through to closure.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Review supplier quality trends and drive 8D problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Support PFMEAs, Control Plans and inspection processes.
• Reduce supplier-related non-conforming material and manage containment.
• Assist New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and supplier readiness.
