Job summary

SR2 - Socially Responsible Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to own the development and certification of aerospace-grade electronic hardware. The role focuses on DO-254 life cycle activities, system architecture, and hardware development for high-integrity applications, with cross-functional collaboration across systems, safety, mechanical and software teams.

Qualifications

Strong electronic hardware development experience within aerospace or other high-integrity systems.
Experience working to DO-254.
Electronic system architecture, design and specification experience.
Hardware requirements definition and requirements-driven development.
Experience taking electronic products through verification, validation and certification.
Understanding of DO-160 environmental qualification.
Experience developing complex electronic controllers.
Ability to lead technical work packages and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of development and certification of complex electronic hardware for aerospace/high-integrity applications.
Lead a cross-disciplinary team across the DO-254 lifecycle to deliver certified hardware.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and manage work packages.
