Job summary

GE Aerospace Caledonian in Prestwick is offering a 12-month Quality Placement to develop skills across product and process design, supplier quality, and issue resolution. You’ll contribute to risk management and continuous improvement while working within a diverse, mission-driven team.

Applicants should be on track for a 2:1 degree in Business/Data Analytics or Engineering/Mechanical, be in their penultimate year, and available to return to study after the placement. BPSS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Business/ Data Analytics or Engineering/ Mechanical/ Aeromechanical degree.
• On course to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.
• Penultimate year of study and returning to education post placement.
• Keen interest in Quality (Product or Supplier).

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across quality, including product design, issue resolution and risk management.
• Investigate quality issues, audit products and suppliers, and drive process improvements.
• Support PFMEA activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
