Job summary

Safran, a global high-technology group, is seeking a Quality Engineer at their Wolverhampton site to implement and maintain the Quality Clinic System within the actuation area. You will develop and oversee an implementation plan to ensure full compliance with Quality Clinic standards.

Key responsibilities include leading gap closure plans, overseeing daily clinic operations, coaching core team members, and driving continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Practical knowledge of quality processes and problem-solving.
• Willingness to attain Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of gap closure plans to improve Quality Clinic effectiveness.
• Oversee daily operation of the Quality Clinic system, including non-conforming product disposition and containment.
• Coordinate Quality Clinic core team tasks and coach teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Monitor process performance using KPIs and established metrics.
• Communicate performance updates to stakeholders through structured reviews.
• Maintain high standards of visual management and 5S/7S workplace organisation.
