South-West-Recruitment is recruiting for a Skilled Proto-type Wire Person to support a world-class test system solutions provider. The role involves producing looms and cable assemblies from drawings to IPC 620/military/aerospace standards, to meet tight build schedules.

The position is based on-site in Blandford Forum, with a focus on high quality wiring and sub-assembly production for aerospace and defence market projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar work essential.
• IPC 620 certified.
• Full driving license.
• Ability to meet Security Check (SC) criteria).

Responsibilities

• Solder to a consistently high standard.
• Produce wiring looms/cable assemblies; crimping, soldering, lacing & splicing to aerospace standards.
• Wiring of cabinets and fixtures.
