Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Leighton Buzzard is recruiting a Project Manager to lead galley projects for the Airbus A350 XWB. The role is hybrid, onsite at least 3 days per week, and collaborates across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

You will manage project plans, dependencies, and scoping changes, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation with a core PM team. A STEM degree and manufacturing PM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field is required.
• Strong PM skills in complex manufacturing projects.
• Experience in project management within manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in MS Office, Project, JDE/SAP.
• Knowledge of EV management and product lifecycle (PDR/CDR/FAI).
• Able to drive continuous improvements in a challenging setting.
• Excellent planning and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to completion with senior PM oversight.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and commercial teams.
• Ensure projects are properly resourced within an IPT framework.
• Create and maintain project plans and identify critical paths.
• Manage scope changes and keep documentation current.
• Lead a core PM team and coordinate with stakeholders.
