Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to drive program performance across ECS, Hydraulics and Life Support Systems. You will develop project plans, monitor schedules, manage risks and coordinate design reviews with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a mechanical/aerospace qualification (HND/HNC/Degree), strong communication, and proven experience in a project engineering environment and MS Project usage.

Qualifications

• HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in a project engineering environment covering product lifecycle.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or similar.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans, schedules and milestones to customer expectations using earned value metrics.
• Monitor and maintain project plans to ensure milestone adherence and on-time delivery.
• Prepare work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule adherence.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to ensure project completion.
• Ensure projects stay within cost, quality and time metrics.
• Coordinate and lead design reviews per HAY procedures.
• Manage project risks and mitigation plans.
