Working across ADS teams, they will provide data, analysis and advice to member companies on the industrial contribution of the UK aerospace sector and support the development of evidence-based positions on the issues affecting industry growth, competitiveness and regulation.

The role directly reports to the ADS Director of Policy and Public Affairs.

The Candidate

We are seeking a highly capable and politically astute Policy Adviser with a strong grounding in UK, EU and international policy, combined with excellent analytical and written communication skills.

They will be highly organised with strong administrative and technical capability, including advanced IT skills, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach is essential, alongside the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, remaining calm under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will bring confidence and credibility when engaging at senior levels, a good understanding of the UK political landscape, and ideally experience within a membership or representative organisation.
