Job summary

Hudson Shribman is seeking a Paint and Prime Operator for a West London facility. You will prime and topcoat aerospace components, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, spray painting, mix adjustments, and meticulous documentation. The role requires at least 2 years in industrial painting, familiarity with TSA/BSA processes, and the ability to work under safety-critical aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting, preferably aerospace or automotive.
• Familiarity with TSA and BSA processes and paint specifications for aerospace components.
• Proficient in spray painting, masking and surface preparation techniques.
• Nadcap or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Able to follow strict safety and quality standards and maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aerospace components by cleaning, masking, and applying surface treatments.
• Apply primers and topcoat paints using HVLP spray guns and other equipment.
• Inspect parts before and after painting for adhesion and uniform coverage.
• Accurately mix paints and primers to meet technical specifications and color matches.
• Follow aerospace safety and quality standards (AS9100, Nadcap).
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of spray guns, booths and related equipment.
• Complete required documentation including process sheets, quality checks and work orders.
