Job summary

A leading aerospace provider in the UK seeks an experienced aircraft fitter to conduct tasks within their MRO facility. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience and a solid understanding of fuel systems, mechanical systems, and structural assemblies. Responsibilities include conducting surveys, driving productivity improvements, and participating in team meetings. Knowledge of EASA/CAA pt145 is preferred. This role involves working with controlled technology, requiring compliance with screening processes.

Qualifications

• Experienced aircraft fitter with broad product knowledge and 10+ years of experience.
• Ability to interpret technical data and understanding of fuel and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of structural assemblies is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all required tasks within the MRO facility including surveys and repairs.
• Identify and drive productivity and performance improvements with the team.
• Participate in team meetings to understand work scheduling and address key issues.

Skills

Understanding lean methodology and principles

Ability to complete tasks on-time and to the required standard

Knowledge and/or experience of EASA/CAA pt145

Education

Apprenticeship, HNC or similar qualification
