Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Materials Handler II in Farnborough to join a high-tech aerospace manufacturing environment. You will pick, pack, and dispatch materials, move stock between stores and production areas, and maintain precise inventory records.

The role requires familiarity with ERP systems and a focus on traceability. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in materials handling, with aerospace/manufacturing experience highly desirable and confidence using warehouse software.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in materials handling, stores, warehouse or logistics.
• Aerospace or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Baan.
• Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge.
• Confident with computers and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch materials accurately and efficiently
• Move materials between stores and production areas
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
• Ensure full product traceability throughout the materials process
• Use ERP systems to update and manage material information
• Support goods-in, goods-out and general stores activities
• Ensure materials are handled and stored in line with quality procedures
• Work closely with production, stores and wider manufacturing teams
• Maintain high levels of accuracy across stock control activities
