Job summary

A respected company in the Defence industry is seeking a Materials Controller in Yeovil to support their Procurement & Supply Chain function. The role involves managing SAP order books, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with stakeholders on critical material requirements. Ideal candidates will have experience in materials or supply chain management, strong communication skills, and proficiency in SAP. This is a 12-month contract with a pay rate of up to £26 per hour, inside IR35.

• Experience in materials or supply chain management in aerospace or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP order books for accuracy.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance.
• Facilitate supplier meetings and performance reviews.
• Work with stakeholders on critical repairs and supply chain needs.
• Resolve material constraints in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with shipping and regulatory requirements.
