A leading aerospace recruitment firm is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a role based in Frimley Green, UK. The successful candidate will design and validate manufacturing systems while coordinating shop floor needs. Proven experience in aerospace sectors and familiarity with PLM/ERP tools is essential. This contract role offers a competitive rate of circa £43 per hour and is initially for 6 months.

Qualifications

• Background in avionics, assembly, integration, or testing.
• Proven experience in aerospace or space sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate manufacturing systems using engineering tools.
• Coordinate shop floor needs with Facilities Management.
• Set up and update MRP/ERP shop-floor routings and documentation.
• Provide technical assistance for manufacturing activities.

Skills

Proven experience within the aerospace sector

Experience developing assembly process documentation

Familiarity with root cause and corrective action methods

Tools

PLM and ERP tools (eg Arena, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
