Job summary

P&S Personnel Services Limited is seeking a senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of high-reliability electronic systems for aerospace applications. You will guide a team of RF and electronic engineers, ensuring robust and manufacturable solutions across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include defining system architectures, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading design reviews, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Proven hardware design experience (analogue, digital or mixed-signal).
• Experience delivering engineering projects in aerospace/defence or safety-critical industries.
• Familiarity with DO-254 standards and hardware lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electronic hardware (digital, analogue, mixed-signal).
• Define architectures in line with aviation standards including DO-254.
• Manage hardware development lifecycle from requirements to certification support.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety, reliability and manufacturability requirements.
• Provide engineering leadership and governance across projects and reviews.
• Oversee project delivery, planning, resourcing, risk mitigation and schedules.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, quality and manufacturing teams.
