Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced fabric cutter for aerospace interiors to prepare and cut premium materials with precision. You will follow cutting plans, inspect materials for defects and ensure correct batch information is recorded.

Qualifications

• Experience cutting materials in aerospace or similar manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read drawings, templates and cutting plans.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and able to meet production targets without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark and cut fabrics, foams, leather and other materials using templates, drawings and cutting plans.
• Operate manual cutting tools and any automated cutting equipment.
• Check materials for defects, damage, colour variation and correct batch information before cutting.
• Ensure all parts are cut to the required dimensions and tolerances.
• Label and organise cut components correctly for the next production process.
• Complete job cards, material records and traceability documentation.
• Use materials efficiently to minimise waste.
• Inspect finished work and report any quality concerns.
• Maintain tools and keep the cutting area clean, safe and organised.
• Follow company procedures for health and safety, quality and foreign object debris prevention.
