Job summary

Evolito Ltd is seeking an Export Controls and Trade Compliance Officer to lead the company’s export controls, customs compliance and international trade governance. You will act as the subject matter expert ensuring UK, US and global regulations are followed for products, software and technical data.

Qualifications

• Experience in export controls, customs compliance or international logistics within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK export control legislation, dual-use regulations and international trade compliance requirements.
• Experience managing export licences, product classifications and customs compliance activities.
• Familiarity with EAR, ITAR and sanctions regulations.
• Experience using SPIRE, HMRC customs systems or trade compliance management tools.
• Understanding of technology transfer controls and controlled information handling.
• Experience developing governance frameworks and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Evolito's export control, customs compliance and trade governance framework.
• Ensure compliance with UK, US and international trade regulations across activities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement required actions.
• Carry out reviews, audits and risk assessments with appropriate mitigation plans.
• Lead screening activities for sanctions, end-use and restricted parties.
• Provide guidance for transfer of controlled tech and data across functions.
• Integrate export control requirements into engineering, development and support processes.
• Deliver company-wide export control and trade compliance training.
