Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking skilled Electrical Engineers with EWIS expertise to join a multinational aerospace team. You will support EWIS physical design, create 3D harness models, and lead design checks ensuring compliance with CS-25 and EASA EWIS standards.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage suppliers, and participate in knowledge transfer. CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE proficiency is essential for successful delivery of aerospace wiring systems.

Qualifications

• HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of EASA EWIS regulations and CS-25 certification requirements.
• Proven experience in aeronautical electrical harness design and wiring integration.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE for 3D electrical design.
• Solid understanding of aircraft zone management, wiring degradation factors, and system safety principles.
• Team leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage suppliers, assess technical risks, and ensure project quality and compliance.
• Experience with EWIS design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver EWIS physical design data.
• Create and update 3D electrified harness models, including routing and diameter adaptation.
• Perform harness installation predesign, proposing interfaces with the aircraft structure.
• Prepare and deliver DFM data for harnesses, brackets, and installation solutions.
• Complete detailed harness and installation designs, performing quality reviews and checks.
• Coordinate with client and supplier to resolve blockers and ensure smooth progress.
• Support knowledge transfer by training new team members and handover of scope.
• Oversee design, integration, and validation of aircraft electrical wiring systems using CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Validate deliverables and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Coordinate project activities with program managers, partners, and suppliers to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Ensure all designs and tests adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as technical focal point when needed and report progress to management.
• Produce and review 3D designs, test plans, TRL dossiers, and engineering notes.
