Job summary

HR GO Group in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire is seeking an Engineering Supervisor. A newly created role to support the operations manager in an established aerospace precision engineering company, delivering engineering, manufacturing planning, and technical activities efficiently while meeting customer requirements and safety standards.

You will lead engineering activities, interpret drawings, manage manufacturing methods, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC milling (3-, 4-, 5-axis) and turning.
• Experience in an aerospace or high-standard engineering environment.
• Knowledge of Titanium, Aluminium and Steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Engineering department, allocating and prioritising work.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to Engineering, Production Supervisors and Operators.
• Interpret customer drawings, CAD models, and specifications into manufacturing methods.
• Develop and maintain methods of manufacture, planning sheets and job packs.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for parts and assemblies.
• Identify tooling, equipment, material and process requirements and ensure communication and action.
