Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking an Electrical Technician in Cambridge to manufacture electrical harnesses, components and control modules within a clean aerospace environment.

You will test and inspect assemblies, read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams, and install components into aircraft interior units while meeting production targets. Soldering and using hand and power tools are essential, with a health and safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years electrical experience in aerospace, marine, or similar regulated industry.
• Time-served apprenticeship or recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Confident soldering and use of hand and power tools.
• Confident use of IT systems, including MRP or production tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture electrical harnesses, components and control modules.
• Test and inspect electrical assemblies to ensure first-time right quality.
• Install electrical components into aircraft interior units.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Keep a safe, organised work area and suggest production-flow improvements.
