Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join an expanding team in Bournemouth, supporting the design and development of innovative aircraft interior products. This role involves new concepts and customisation of existing designs, ensuring electrical solutions meet quality, cost and performance targets within a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and design processes.
• Strong development and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD for wire routing and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Engineer aircraft interior products to meet specification requirements.
• Produce electrical design 2D and 3D data to meet milestones.
• Feed learning and product improvement suggestions to the design team.
• Prepare electrical design qualification documents as required.
• Support production with investigating, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
