Job summary

Safran Pitstone is seeking a Lead Design Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure safety-critical aerospace designs meet airworthiness requirements before production.

The role leads DOH/Part 21J oversight, drives defect prevention, RCCA/FRACA programs, and coordinates audits with engineering, operations, and supply chain to maintain compliance and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in aerospace, science, or engineering is highly desirable.
• 5–10 years' experience in aerospace engineering, design & development, or quality positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory requirements before production.
• Lead design reviews and oversight for airworthiness per Part 21J and DOH.
• Drive defect prevention and RCCA/FRACA with CAPA across the product lifecycle.
