Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking consulting professionals to join the defence and aerospace team. You will help clients transform through tech-enabled, people-centered solutions and lead delivery on major defence programmes.

You will build client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and contribute to consortium-building and strategic partnerships across Capgemini. A strong track record in complex transformations is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major parts of complex transformation programmes for aerospace/defence clients.
• Experience creating new business from client relationships.
• Interest in AI augmented propositions and related opportunities.
• Ability to manage client relationships with credibility and trust.
• Knowledge of defence programmes across public and private sectors.

Your Role

Our clients in defence and aerospace are facing unprecedented change, facing into a world of uncertaintyand increasing risk. WithinEuropealone we are witnessinga significantrearmament phase, driven bygeopoliticalshiftsand increasing investments across the defence landscape.

We are seeking talented consulting professionals to join our growing defence and aerospace team within Capgemini Invent. As a key member of our team you will work with colleagues and partners to build and deliver solutions for our clients that enable them to increase their defence outputs, drive efficiency and utilise the latest enabling digital technologies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both client and personal growth by engaging in activitiesincluding:

• Developing new client solutions by working across Capgemini to bring together a unique combination of tech enabled, people centred and output centric solutions.
• Building a unique outcome based commercial approach that enables Capgemini to deliver major programmes linked to the business outcomes achieved.
• Working with colleagues across Capgemini to generate new business in a partner centric way. Including building consortiums and partnering with other complimentary organisations to bid for major global defence programmes.
• Operatingas a delivery leadon major defence programmes, including building business cases, designing transformation programmesand rolling upyoursleeves to see changes through tofront-lineimplementation.
• Developing both yourself, your team and your clients to continually improve and push the boundaries of what is possible. Humility is a key value within Capgemini, we see this as a fantastic foundation for self-learning and development.

Your Profile

• Proven background in a management consulting environment where you have delivered major parts of complex transformation programmes for Aerospace and Defence major clients
• Proven background in supporting the creation of new business from business relationships
• AI curiosity and ideally experience in creation of AI augmented propositions
• Experience managing client relationships, fostering trust and building credibility across your domain of expertise.
• Knowledge of defence programmes and experience solving complex problems across the enterprise, covering both the public and private sector players.
• Experience of forming industry and defence relationships at a variety levels.
• Passion for solving your clients most pressing challenges, achieving tangible outcomes through a mix of technical expertise and strong people skills.
• Knowledge of constructing commercial models where incentives align across clients and their advisors to jointly deliver meaningful defence outcomes.
• Importantly an ability to lead our people, demonstrating both the integrity and humility needed to engage a diverse group of talent, bringing out the best performance for our clients.
