Job summary

Safran Seats GB in the UK is seeking a Compliance Monitoring Engineer to support AS9100 and EASA/CAA Part 145 compliance across the Repair Station. You will drive quality improvements, manage audit findings, and collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires an engineering background with MRO experience and a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
• Quality background, with experience in MRO (P145), Aviation Safety (SMS) and Human Factors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required by the role.
• Desirable: Part 145 auditor experience.
• Experience in Aerospace industry, preferably interiors.
• Maintain the QMS of the repair station and liaise with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for customer and regulatory audits to ensure AS9100 and EASA 145 compliance.
• Protect customers by ensuring repaired products and practices meet regulations and Safran standards.
• Develop Safety culture and SMS maturity within the Repair Station.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data and feedback for the repair station.
• Undertake internal, external, process and product audits including Part 21G support.
• Manage audit findings, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions; support root cause investigations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and assist in managing operational safety risks.
• Work with Quality Compliance, Aftermarket and other teams on quality system matters.
• Support training and coaching in quality improvement tools, Human Factors and best practices.
• Monitor and review Repair Station documentation and procedures.
