Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Operator for the aerospace sector, based on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border. You will operate CNC milling machines and produce precision components to drawings and quality standards.

This permanent, days-based role offers training and development opportunities in a precision engineering environment, with overtime and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as CNC Miller Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Aerospace experience would be advantageous, though strong precision engineering experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines.
• Load and unload components and follow CNC programmes and drawings.
• Make offset adjustments where required.
• Monitor machining processes and identify issues; carry out in-process and final inspection.
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet spec.
• Maintain production and quality records; work to tight tolerances.
