Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wolverhampton is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Machining Operations onsite, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. The role involves creating CNC programs from NX and developing tooling, jigs and drawings for manufacture.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent.
• G Code knowledge and NC programming ability.
• Experience with NX and CAD/PLM tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC machine programs from NX.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Design and update jigs, fixtures and tooling; create drawings for manufacture.
• Raise orders for new equipment as required.
