Job summary

SII Group UK is seeking a highly motivated Systems Test Engineer to contribute to complex aerospace integration and validation programmes. You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment to support ground and flight-based verification activities across critical aircraft systems.

In this role you will generate detailed test documentation, analyse large datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive testing efficiency and output quality in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or high-integrity engineering environments.
• Experience with system verification, validation or performance testing.
• Experience processing, interpreting and reporting engineering data.
• Practical fault diagnosis, troubleshooting or investigative engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level validation across aircraft subsystems in a live engineering environment.
• Support end-to-end airborne test campaigns, including preparation, configuration verification and active test operations.
• Generate comprehensive, well-structured technical documentation of test results, observations and insights.
• Analyse large datasets from testing, applying statistical techniques and engineering judgment.
• Investigate anomalies and support root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and propose solutions.
• Operate under tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic project.
• Continuously adopt new tools and digital capabilities to enhance testing efficiency and output quality.
